The audience was convinced that Axel Tasis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Lepper was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Wehrkirchen's attentive 史俊云 managed to snatch the ball when Hugo Ferrant made a throw-in in the 13th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Wehrkirchen's Milosz Trochowski got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Wehrkirchen's Andrzej Rawa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Efrain Moruga in the 31 minute of the game. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wehrkirchen's Norbert Lepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Lepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes, Andrzej Rawa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wehrkirchen and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Andrzej Rawa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 史俊云 struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wehrkirchen.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Majczyk to strike the kick off in the second half. Alan Moruga's late challenge caught a Wehrkirchen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alan Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. If Stanislaw Gniewek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Majczyk's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Wehrkirchen's Norbert Lepper. Norbert Lepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wehrkirchen's goalkeeper Norbert Lepper, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Wehrkirchen side.
