Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Santos Ferdinand took the kick off in the first half of the match. Amado Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larra having to interfere. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Larra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezia FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amado Larra came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Larra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by JohnObi Mikel. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Larra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larra having to interfere. Eriberto Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Larra having to interfere. After 48 minutes Venezia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezia FC's Amado Larra did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Felix Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amado Larra. That made the score 0-4 after 54 minutes of play. Claudio Innocenzio charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Innocenzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 66 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goalkeeper Amado Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Amado Larra made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Felix Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Amado Larra. Venezia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Amado Larra was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Agustín Saelices capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agustín Saelices really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Amado Larra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Amado Larra managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Larra narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
