Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Amado Larra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Larra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 20 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezia FC's Clemente Rodriguez got a free kick in the 29th minute. Amado Larra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play. Venezia FC's Amado Larra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Amado Larra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santos Ferdinand. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Ferdinand was the one to do the kick off. Amado Larra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 60 played minutes Venezia FC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Eneto. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amado Larra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amado Larra. Amado Larra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 70th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amado Larra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. With a little luck, Venezia FC's Amado Larra got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amado Larra could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play forced Venezia FC's goalkeeper Amado Larra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Larra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amado Larra came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Amado Larra made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezia FC.
