Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herodes Barroso kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play forced Icaria's goalkeeper Aritz Nafría to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herodes Barroso in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Ion Vazquez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Herodes Barroso came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Icaria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herodes Barroso couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Icaria's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gartzen Segura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 21 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Herodes Barroso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Icaria getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aureliano Maroto hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Icaria. Ostadar Torres scored 1-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th match minute, Icaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urtsin Valdivia to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Icaria got a freekick which was hit by Urtsin Valdivia. Icaria were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ion Vazquez took the corner. The corner ended in Ion Vazquez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. The audience was convinced that Herodes Barroso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herodes Barroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Gartzen Segura notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ion Vazquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ion Vazquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ostadar Torres went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aritz Nafría breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Aritz Nafría in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Aritz Nafría managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aritz Nafría showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th match minute, Icaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Maroto to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
