Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezia FC's Diego Frasquito. But to his dismay, Diego Frasquito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Venezia FC were awarded a corner. Thibau Van Mellaert went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Frasquito in the 16th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Angel Guillelmus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Angel Guillelmus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Diego Frasquito kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Diego Frasquito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Frasquito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibau Van Mellaert in the 51st minute of play. Venezia FC's Desiderio Salvadore managed to work through Venezuela's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Desiderio Salvadore dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When Rigoberto Mina fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Rigoberto Mina a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezia FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thibau Van Mellaert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Olaf Modliszewski put in a rough tackle. In the 58th minute, one of Venezia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Venezia FC. The referee gave Venezuela a penalty, 60 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tomas Illescas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezia FC's Roberto Abbondanzieri. 4-1. Desiderio Salvadore blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Desiderio Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Desiderio Salvadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play, Venezia FC's Diego Frasquito made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Frasquito in the 96th minute of play. Venezia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
