Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Abel Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Abel Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7th play minute Todd Griffiths came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 1-0. After 14 minutes, Jake Grayson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Heavenly Hooters and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. After 17 played minutes, Heavenly Hooters's Marty King shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heavenly Hooters reached it. Lennie Rusby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brandon Wright in the 23rd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marty King. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Todd Griffiths kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Griffiths went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Heavenly Hooters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phil Naylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 40th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Brandon Wright capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Brandon Wright really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Phil Naylor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Todd Griffiths made the kick off in the second half. After 51st play minutes Todd Griffiths shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. 58 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Griffiths came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Griffiths in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Todd Griffiths in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Pedro Luiz de Moraes replaced Phil Naylor. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Heavenly Hooters's Todd Griffiths. But to his dismay, Todd Griffiths quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Griffiths in the 76th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Lico Aldazabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Heavenly Hooters got a freekick which was hit by Lico Aldazabal. Brandon Wright took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Pedro Luiz de Moraes scored 12-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty King in the 87th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Griffiths in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Todd Griffiths ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. When the referee ended the match the Heavenly Hooters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
