Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Veronica kicked off to start the match. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alejo Botello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Inter Miami CF defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Botello. The Inter Miami CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Botello should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Inter Miami CF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Placido Egun hit a great ball. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Botello having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Baltasar Porfiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Inter Miami CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Marcelo Milio hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goalkeeper Alejo Botello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After 24 minutes, Flaco Schiavi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Miami CF and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alejo Botello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of the match. Inter Miami CF's Rigoberto Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alejo Botello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 32 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Alejo Botello managed to make a qualified save. Inter Miami CF's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Alejo Botello. After a rather tough play, Inter Miami CF's Hector Goizeder got a free kick in the 37th minute. Alejo Botello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Alejo Botello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Botello. Inter Miami CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0.

In the 51st minute Rigoberto Paul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Botello. Alejo Botello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Alejo Botello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Inter Miami CF's Alejo Botello. Alejo Botello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 75 minutes into the match, Inter Miami CF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Alejo Botello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Inter Miami CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Egun to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 12-0 when Cristian Sancho sped through Inter Miami CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alejo Botello. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter Miami CF's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
