An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 17th minute of play forced Victoria Przyborów's goalkeeper Boleslaw Ruszczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Victoria Przyborów's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Boleslaw Ruszczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Semavi Polat came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Semavi Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Boleslaw Ruszczyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With his leg Boleslaw Ruszczyk managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when USA's Cassius Byrne fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Boleslaw Ruszczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Semavi Polat in the 62nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gaitano Coya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
