Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juliusz Mnich started the match with the kick off. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ryszard Mis in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute Juan Sebastián Puig suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Jankowski during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BRÓDNO getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Waldemar Jankowski hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Popowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emil Popowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BRÓDNO's Emil Popowicz. Emil Popowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. BRÓDNO's Emil Popowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 30th minute, Juliusz Mnich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Popowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Popowicz. Emil Popowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juliusz Mnich during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when BRÓDNO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Mnich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Emil Popowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 55th minute. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 64th minute, but Emil Popowicz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving BRÓDNO hanging dry this time. 66 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emil Popowicz. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Emil Popowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emil Popowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 76th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emil Popowicz. Emil Popowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After a rather tough play, BRÓDNO's Witomir Badanowski got a free kick in the 78th minute. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 79th minute really tested Emil Popowicz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. BRÓDNO's Emil Popowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save BRÓDNO from getting a goal against them. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Emil Popowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ecuador played a much better game than BRÓDNO and deserved their victory. The BRÓDNO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
