In the 2nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leif Samuelsson went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ulvis Kreigers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulvis Kreigers. Bäckeby Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulvis Kreigers having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the match, Johannes Mickelsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bäckeby Fotboll's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Mickelsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Sundström. After a rather tough play, Bäckeby Fotboll's Inge Albäck got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ulvis Kreigers came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Ulvis Kreigers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Sundström in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Bäckeby Fotboll's goalkeeper Ulvis Kreigers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Lucas Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bäckeby Fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Sundström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Johnny Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bäckeby Fotboll's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ulvis Kreigers came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ulvis Kreigers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ulvis Kreigers. Bäckeby Fotboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Ulvis Kreigers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Tommy Hjälm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Bäckeby Fotboll's corner Zbyszek Pruss fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Jansson in the 80th minute of play. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Bäckeby Fotboll made a substitution. Patric Lövskog replaced Vilgot Fransson. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Jansson in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bäckeby Fotboll.
