Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Roland Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan-Olof Bergman got free with Julio Vera in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walter Ohara hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Hjalmar Spetz. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Kåge BF's Lars-Erik Wik. But to his dismay, Lars-Erik Wik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With an all-out effort, Kåge BF's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lars-Erik Wik, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play forced Kåge BF's goalkeeper Roland Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes Kåge BF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Antonio Arias almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kåge BF's Roland Backman did a great save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Kåge BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Ohara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Olof Bergman to make the kick off. Roland Backman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Roland Backman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kåge BF! Roland Backman made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Kåge BF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roland Backman quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roland Backman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Backman having to interfere. Jan-Olof Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Kåge BF's Roland Backman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 84th minute of play. Roland Backman made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Roland Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match Kåge BF got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hjalmar Spetz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Lars-Erik Wik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Roland Backman made a huge save.
