In the 11thth minute of the game Javier Santo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Javier Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Altos Gatos FC's Javier Santo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Christian Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 18th minute of play. Christian Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of the match. The throw-in from Faustino Orlo in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 43 minutes into the game, Faustino Orlo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luz Tejedor came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Christian Kiliz could save by the left post. In the 62nd match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Altos Gatos FC's Everardo Chago was substituted for Faustino Orlo. The supporters of Altos Gatos FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonso Berganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Abancens, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Altos Gatos FC's Justino Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifacio Olle made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Garnero however managed to control. The crowd rose to their feet as Peru's Milagros Fraga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christian Kiliz. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Abancens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Altos Gatos FC had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
