Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Bai Yan Feng in the 3rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, Rickard Lövkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Arvin Svanberg came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Karen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvin Svanberg couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Majak in the 20th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Lövkvist in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Karen FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvin Svanberg in the 38th minute of play. If Arvin Svanberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Ma Yong Jun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Karen FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Patricio Costa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rickard Lövkvist, made in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Arvin Svanberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bai Yan Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 71 minutes of play Venezuela's Patricio Costa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Arvin Svanberg. But to his dismay, Arvin Svanberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Slawomir Majak in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80th minute, Slawomir Majak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 84th minute, Bon Guidetti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slawomir Majak took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 91st minute. Karen FC's Leo Öfverman was substituted for Seve Sevens. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Karen FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bon Guidetti, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Karen FC played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
