The supporters of Saray Spor booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mustafa Oğuz Pekalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Romero in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Mustafa Oğuz Pekalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saray Spor's goalkeeper Tolga Sezen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Illescas made a great header on Venezuela's corner, it was just that Saray Spor's Tolga Sezen managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Saray Spor's 苏庭枫 got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Romero. In the 29th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolga Sezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Romero came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gaos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Saray Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şehzade Gençyaz to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Romero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Saray Spor's Şehzade Gençyaz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Romero in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Gaffar Mazlum in the 58th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inácio Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Ahmet Sedat Acemoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 66th minute of the match Jose Correa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jose Correa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 66 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. 70 minutes into the game, 苏庭枫 threw the ball into play from the sideline. Venezuela's Alex Chicote quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 72 minutes into the match, Inácio Romero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Inácio Romero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Gaffar Mazlum in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Romero came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. After having played for 90 minutes, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Inácio Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
