Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerardo Quinteros took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute of the match, Stanley Wallace got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicasio Goyo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Harvey Doyle was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, one of Curacao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bruno Barrett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Quinteros went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 26 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Policial's goalkeeper Nicasio Goyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stanley Wallace. 1-2 became the score in the 29th minute when Marshall Graham elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Club Atletico Policial's Nicasio Goyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Policial from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the game, Stanley Wallace recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicasio Goyo. Stanley Wallace showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. When Stanley Wallace came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Curacao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanley Wallace couldn't finish the play. After 39 played minutes Club Atletico Policial got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Azevedo. Nicasio Goyo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Stanley Wallace sent off a good shot on target. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Nicasio Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy Kennedy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Gerardo Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Barrett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Quinteros in the 60th minute of the match. Nicasio Goyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley Wallace in the 61st minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Club Atletico Policial's Bruno Barrett threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerardo Quinteros, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 83 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Charles Cox. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Luis Isadore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Policial's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Isadore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Barrett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Natalio Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Curacao players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
