Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The audience thought a goal was coming when Lilcho Ilchov got free with Rolando Noboa in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Phoenix Kante got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lilcho Ilchov. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Samai Asmawan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Ray Clemence. PHOENIX SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th minute, Dé 孙权 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luz Tejedor came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luz Tejedor couldn't finish the play. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ray Clemence. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Frederico Hendrickx got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Samai Asmawan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 2-1 in the 20 minute of play. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Seco made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. In the 39th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Ray Clemence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by PHOENIX SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Hendrickx to strike the kick off in the second half. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ray Clemence saved PHOENIX SC from getting behind. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Samai Asmawan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PHOENIX SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After 71 played minutes PHOENIX SC got a freekick which was hit by Samai Asmawan. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Wilson Seco made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aryeh Markovich immediately put the ball in play. A sloppy throw-in by Wilson Seco in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. 93 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The nice shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Ray Clemence had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Samai Asmawan put it in 3-5 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Noboa.
