Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Loco Cabezon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Eleder to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leonides Galtero. Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some careless play in the Loco Cabezon defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Galtero. The Loco Cabezon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Galtero should have stopped the shot. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leonides Galtero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonides Galtero having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Loco Cabezon's Rogelio Abajas got a free kick in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Abajas in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Loco Cabezon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Eleder during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eleder. 46 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero. Leonides Galtero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Loco Cabezon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

After a rather tough play, Loco Cabezon's Jose Eleder got a free kick in the 50th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 51st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Loco Cabezon's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Galtero came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Ieltxu. Leonides Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leonides Galtero firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Loco Cabezon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Loco Cabezon made a substitution. Albano Alvarez replaced Modesto Boni. The audience was convinced that Rogelio Abajas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Abajas in the 81st minute of play. After 82 played minutes Loco Cabezon got a freekick which was hit by Jose Eleder. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced Loco Cabezon's goalkeeper Leonides Galtero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonides Galtero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Loco Cabezon's Leonides Galtero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Loco Cabezon from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Loco Cabezon's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Leonides Galtero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
