Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The Uruguay fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Uruguay's Francisco Seco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A throw-in in the 12th minute of the game was made by Liviu Mușătescu with Andrei Vârjean as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 16th minute, Alex Potra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Camilo Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Răduț having to interfere. After 25 minutes, Matei Pescaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fotbal Club Vaslui and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matei Pescaru hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Camilo Franco might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mugurel Răduț. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Franco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 27th minute Camilo Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Răduț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Camilo Franco shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mugurel Răduț to catch but Camilo Franco was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Răduț saved Fotbal Club Vaslui from getting behind. Mugurel Răduț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mugurel Răduț came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Mugurel Răduț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After 44 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Potra made the kick off in the second half. If Alberto Gisbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mugurel Răduț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 54th minute. Teodor Oneț charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodor Oneț the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 played minutes Fotbal Club Vaslui got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Oneț. In the 68th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Covarrubias to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Fotbal Club Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Grecescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Francisco Seco put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Mugurel Răduț. Francisco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mugurel Răduț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Gisbert during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Gisbert. In the 79th minute Andrei Vârjean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Seco scored 0-6 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mugurel Răduț, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Francisco Seco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mugurel Răduț. That made the score 0-7 after 86 minutes of play. The supporters of Fotbal Club Vaslui booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Uruguay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fotbal Club Vaslui.
