Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Birger Kjellkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Birger Kjellkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Kjellkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Kjellkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Västlund in the 16th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lokomotiv Julita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tommy Sundström in the 17th minute. Andréas Biörkquist was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Maximilian Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of the match. Birger Kjellkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Birger Kjellkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Wiktor Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lokomotiv Julita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Lokomotiv Julita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Eklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Lokomotiv Julita's Peder Finman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Andréas Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Kjellkvist in the 39th minute of play. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Peder Finman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Kjellkvist in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birger Kjellkvist made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Birger Kjellkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Andréas Biörkquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andréas Biörkquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 85th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Kjellkvist in the 87th minute of play. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Peder Finman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Lokomotiv Julita getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Olof Andreasson hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximilian Nordin skillfully saved the ball. Lokomotiv Julita walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
