Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermínio Lendaa in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jose Correa charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jose Correa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Hermínio Lendaa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermínio Lendaa got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Goth Cloudy Experience booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agostinho Martins having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 80th minute.
