Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Alan Campos got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 9 played minutes, Liver Bird's Duncan Schwarz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Nores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Liver Bird reached it. Liver Bird's Duncan Schwarz got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luc Spiess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Liver Bird booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Duncan Schwarz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores skillfully saved the ball. Duncan Schwarz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Jacobo Nores skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Paraguay's Jacobo Nores got control of the ball when Duncan Schwarz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute of the match Jonny Gutknecht shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobo Nores showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Liver Bird's Jonny Gutknecht got a free kick in the 44th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Spiess in the 55th minute of play. When Liver Bird's Luc Spiess in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Liver Bird getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aris Kalogeros hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Raul Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fabio Robert fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Liver Bird's protests and gave Fabio Robert a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 71 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duncan Schwarz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Jonny Gutknecht hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Luc Spiess shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Liver Bird's Duncan Schwarz. But to his dismay, Duncan Schwarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 86th match minute, Liver Bird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonny Gutknecht to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duncan Schwarz's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Primitivo Escribano hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Spiess in the 94th minute of play. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duncan Schwarz went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Liver Bird were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Paraguay for a fine match.
