Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Qiu Ang successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Qiu Ang made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Francisco Seco sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, one of Uruguay:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Uruguay. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Despite being the better team, Uruguay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
