Rolando Noboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Oriol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Andres Muc the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AC Wild Broncos Ψ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Andres Muc had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 11 minutes into the game, one of AC Wild Broncos Ψ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Peru a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luz Tejedor, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Wild Broncos Ψ's Kristiaan Roulin. 1-1. In the 16th minute, Leonardo Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 18th minute of play forced AC Wild Broncos Ψ's goalkeeper Kristiaan Roulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Oriol. AC Wild Broncos Ψ's Kristiaan Roulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milagros Fraga in the 33rd minute of play. Kristiaan Roulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Bernaldo made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Kristiaan Roulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Kristiaan Roulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristiaan Roulin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute. 72 minutes into the match, AC Wild Broncos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Kristiaan Roulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristiaan Roulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 73rd minute of play. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 87th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
