Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roque Claus in the 10th minute. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Lasse Tilemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Lanzenkirchen defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Åke Brummer. The Lanzenkirchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Åke Brummer should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the game, Mariano Lacasa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Karl-Åke Brummer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Åke Brummer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 37th minute of play. Karl-Åke Brummer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Åke Brummer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Karl-Åke Brummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Claus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucjan Bejger to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Brummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Karl-Åke Brummer in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Brummer made a huge save. Roque Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lanzenkirchen's Roland Freytag was substituted for Lasse Tilemann. Xavier Figueroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Karl-Åke Brummer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Åke Brummer. Karl-Åke Brummer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 88th minute of the match, Guillermo Fontirroig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl-Åke Brummer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 89 minutes, Lucjan Bejger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lanzenkirchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucjan Bejger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Karl-Åke Brummer in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 98 minutes, Roque Claus made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Chile left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lanzenkirchen.
