Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Barış Yorangil came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Lucio Ur made a huge save. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lucio Ur could save by the left post. Lucio Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, C. A. Potrero's Özgür Onur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lucio Ur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Lucio Ur in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Lucio Ur made a huge save. Lucio Ur made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucio Ur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Barış Yorangil in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Potrero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Mustafa Barış Yorangil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mustafa Barış Yorangil came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the C. A. Potrero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa Barış Yorangil couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Lucio Ur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Semih Kaya was slow to take the kick. During this time C. A. Potrero's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C. A. Potrero's Semih Kaya to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 71st match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Ignado to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 76 minutes into the match, Mustafa Barış Yorangil notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. C. A. Potrero's Lucio Ur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Daniel Zorita sped through C. A. Potrero's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lucio Ur. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mustafa Barış Yorangil managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. A. Potrero's supporters rose to their feet, but Mustafa Barış Yorangil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ecuador lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
