After a rather tough play, FMArgentina's Honorato Ur got a free kick in the 10th minute. Honorato Ur kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FMArgentina's Andres Machado got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andres Machado. Andres Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. FMArgentina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Andres Machado, making the score, 5-0. Andres Machado came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Andres Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Boniel to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FMArgentina's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andres Machado came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andres Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute of play. After 56 minutes, Felix Montenegro made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. FMArgentina's Andres Machado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Andres Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. FMArgentina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Andres Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 68th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Andres Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 69th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andres Machado was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Andres Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 75th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Andres Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FMArgentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Machado should have stopped the shot.
