Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. MINAS TIRITH were furious when Leontin Geoană was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of MINAS TIRITH:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. MINAS TIRITH:s Niculae Dudău showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Daniel Zorita scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niculae Dudău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 21 minutes, Eric Buga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MINAS TIRITH and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st match minute, MINAS TIRITH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Buga to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that MINAS TIRITH's Niculae Dudău managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 38th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Dudău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Vlăsiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that MINAS TIRITH's Niculae Dudău managed to reach the ball for a save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Vlăsiu to strike the kick off in the second half. MINAS TIRITH's Phoenix Alb came free and shot a quick shot against goal 58 minutes in the game, fortunately Julio Vera had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The corner ended in George Alupulesei almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Niculae Dudău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phoenix Alb. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MINAS TIRITH made a substitution. Iustinian Crăiță replaced Florin Nenciu. Liviu Vlăsiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Phoenix Alb hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. MINAS TIRITH's Iustinian Crăiță shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Julio Vera but with some difficulty. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Dudău having to interfere. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
