Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Jerrald in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Alejandro Jerrald took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvar Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Alejandro Jerrald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Jerrald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alvar Öberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvar Öberg saved Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting behind. Alvar Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 32nd minute of play. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Öberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Öberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvar Öberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jacobo Mark to strike the kick off in the second half. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Mark in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. 59 minutes in the game Evelio Abecia did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cipriano Joachim. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Rio Tercero from getting a goal against them. When Mariano Lacasa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alvar Öberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Karlsson in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Eladio in the 70th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Jerrald came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Alvar Öberg in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evelio Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Alvar Öberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvar Öberg. Alvar Öberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
