An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 4th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomasz Piwko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Stelian Joldea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 30th minute of play. Mariusz Zgonina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Joldea, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Piwko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Hieronim Winszman got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Tomasz Piwko. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stelian Joldea to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Mariusz Zgonina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Zgonina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelian Joldea, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Reşat Rasif hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Teobald Wawrukiewicz hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Lautaro Mancebo in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reşat Rasif in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the game, Facundo Cadaval recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomasz Piwko. Facundo Cadaval showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza was substituted for Reşat Rasif. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the game, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
