Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dănuț Roman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manole Tăcutu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 3rd minute of the match. Dănuț Roman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Virgil Mincu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Marius Manolescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dănuț Roman charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dănuț Roman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dănuț Roman to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the game, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Dănuț Roman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Manole Tăcutu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 30 played minutes -BZF- Valea Buzăului got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Finteșteanu. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dănuț Roman in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Dănuț Roman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Benito Sanz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Mincu in the 51st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dănuț Roman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dănuț Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dănuț Roman, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Cosmin Constantin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Dănuț Roman made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dănuț Roman in the 88th minute of play. After 94 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
