Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 4thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lima Team's Francisco Infante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Francisco Infante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 20th minute of the match. Francisco Infante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Infante. Francisco Infante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Infante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 42nd minute. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Francisco Infante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Infante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Sobral hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Herberto Caiado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Lima Team's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Infante having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francisco Infante came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 70th minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Infante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Lima Team's Francisco Infante got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes Lima Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Lima Team's Francisco Infante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Infante having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Palmeira in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herberto Caiado in the 93rd minute of play. Francisco Infante made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lima Team.
