Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Lobo got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. In the 3rd minute of the match Berutti FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reynaldo Raebert ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 8th minute, Armando Dubardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Berutti FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Macario despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Berutti FC's Edelmiro Cheche got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berutti FC's Bruno Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Edelmiro Cheche scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Macario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Macario having to interfere. When Angelino Castulo fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Angelino Castulo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Macario having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Aznaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Agustín Saelices recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Reynaldo Raebert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. In the 93rd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Victor Restu hit a great ball. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Berutti FC had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
