Hector Covarrubias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor Alves having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Jose Sanz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil dos Santos lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Rondinone F.C - FDFDF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Paraguay:s goal. After 18 minutes, Jaime Pardo made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Pardo got free with João Vítor Alves in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalkeeper João Vítor Alves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. Hector Covarrubias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but João Vítor Alves made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Jaime Pardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Vítor Alves was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. João Vítor Alves came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias. But to his dismay, Hector Covarrubias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. João Vítor Alves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's goalie prevented a goal. Jaime Pardo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Vítor Alves. João Vítor Alves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. João Vítor Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 69th minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Jaime Pardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondinone F.C - FDFDF's João Vítor Alves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jaime Pardo scored 8-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Vítor Alves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Vítor Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Pardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Paraguay were the better team. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
