The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angelo Di Salvatore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th match minute, Sconvols United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Vinci to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Di Salvatore. Sconvols United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Faria came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Angelo Di Salvatore to make any attempt to save it. In the 61st minute, Luiz Faria made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Luiz Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Luca Espinar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Angelo Di Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sconvols United's Fabio Aceto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
