After a rather tough play, deportivo madrid's Hasan Tahsin Polatalp got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 69th minute, Pascual Carballar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Grau. Hasan Tahsin Polatalp was slow to take the kick. During this time deportivo madrid's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Ali Faruk Atılay got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 5-3. 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Vaggelis Rousses got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But to his dismay, Filip Slipetskyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-3. Ignacio Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Grau having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Slipetskyi in the 94th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
