Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Cordarell who took care of the corner kick. In the 8th minute Perez Candana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute of the match, Zeng Ting Xing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ali Vedat Çelikyay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 12th minute of the match. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ali Vedat Çelikyay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Santiago Meruendano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 20th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeng Ting Xing received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeng Ting Xing slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Santiago Meruendano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Meruendano really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Vedat Çelikyay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeng Ting Xing in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Vedat Çelikyay. Ali Vedat Çelikyay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Ting Xing came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Zeng Ting Xing could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Meruendano came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeng Ting Xing was the one to do the kick off. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 50th minute of play. Sanchez Mendecute hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Ali Vedat Çelikyay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 57th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Union Y Progreso F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Perez Candana. In the 59th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ali Vedat Çelikyay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Vedat Çelikyay having to interfere. Perez Candana kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olle Melander in the 82nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes Union Y Progreso F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sanchez Mendecute. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Ali Vedat Çelikyay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Facundo Cadaval was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
