Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vinicio Lopes started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Berto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 7thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Ayuntamiento CF's Vicente Berto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Berto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vicente Berto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Anacleto Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Ecuador a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Zorita, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Ayuntamiento CF's Vicente Berto. 0-2. Juan Sebastián Puig struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Vicente Berto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 42 minutes, Agustín Saelices mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Real Ayuntamiento CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Though ot was a great shot Ecuador's keeper Julio Vera was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Vicente Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Real Ayuntamiento CF's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Berto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Vicente Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalkeeper Vicente Berto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Berto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vicente Berto came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 69th minute. Vicente Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Lopes in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Real Ayuntamiento CF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Maximo Cai hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Vicente Berto made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Daniel Zorita got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 85th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Real Ayuntamiento CF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Honorio Cordeara got a free kick in the 87th minute.
