Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Omar Maju got the match started through his kick off. Peru's Eliseo Mina got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pastor Valery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Pastor Valery reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Capdevilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Capdevilla's goalie and right to Milagros Fraga. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Capdevilla's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Victorio Lehior, made in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Capdevilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Alonso Berganza at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Capdevilla. 0-1. After 28 minutes Capdevilla's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Emmanuel Reyes made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that Capdevilla's Pastor Valery managed to reach the ball for a save. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Victorio Lehior in the 30 minute of the game. Capdevilla's Pastor Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 32nd minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Omar Maju managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capdevilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Maju in the 35th minute of play. In the last second Rolando Noboa throw himself and got hold of the ball when Omar Maju in the 38thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Omar Maju spun around in front of the goal 38 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Peru's goal. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Dolfo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 44th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 47th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. After the first half Peru were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. Capdevilla's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Pastor Valery, making the score, 0-2. Pastor Valery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 59th minute. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Valery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector Berdoi kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Peru booed when Capdevilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Pastor Valery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Miguel Diagur took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Pastor Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 75th minute of play. Pastor Valery came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Pastor Valery didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peru's Julian Murillo shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-4 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Valery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Pastor Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pastor Valery saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
