The Pedro Manzanares was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gordon Horgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Abram Sarmiento heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Olgun Oktay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Tahsin Atacan scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 1-1. 30 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Olgun Oktay came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tahsin Atacan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. In the last second Gordon Horgan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Santino Seco in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 59th minute of the match. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 60th minute of play. Gordon Horgan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of play forced COPERNICUS TORUŃ's goalkeeper Gordon Horgan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. COPERNICUS TORUŃ's Gordon Horgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play. When Abram Secada came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Secada couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Horgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
