Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sixten Sjö got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Folke Wahlström. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Kilstedt got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Hans Kilstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Jonsereds IF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Rune Simonsson hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Gil Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hans Kilstedt in the 24th minute. Sixten Sjö's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Sixten Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Sixten Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute Sixten Sjö shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jonsereds IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Sixten Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jonsereds IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixten Sjö was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Folke Wahlström hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gil Garcia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Sjö in the 74th minute of the match. Sixten Sjö's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 80 played minutes Jonsereds IF got a freekick which was hit by Hans Kilstedt. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Folke Wahlström made in the 84th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sixten Sjö. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 86th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixten Sjö in the 87th minute of play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Kilstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gil Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
