Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sixten Sjö made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play forced Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jonsereds IF's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Primitivo Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gil Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Gil Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Sixten Sjö might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sixten Sjö ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixten Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jonsereds IF's Sixten Sjö. But to his dismay, Sixten Sjö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Garcia having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixten Sjö in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gil Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Hans Kilstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Primitivo Andino made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Daniel Zorita. 59 minutes into the match, Jonsereds IF's goalkeeper Gil Garcia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 67th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Sjö in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Jonsereds IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Qvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ronny Nilsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jonsereds IF.
