Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Capivariano F.C.'s Waldemar Batista started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonardo Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 7 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonardo Moreira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Moreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luan Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Capivariano F.C.'s Leonardo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 36th minute of play. Luan Simões came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Capivariano F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mathias Camargo in the 46th minute. A nice corner shot did that Frédson Galvão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After the first half Costa Rica were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Axel Tasis made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Leonardo Moreira in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Perez to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes in the game Carlinhos Fonseca did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cristóvão Souza. In the 61st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 63 in the game by Axel Tasis from a close distance when the talented Leonardo Moreira managed to make a qualified save. Capivariano F.C.'s players were relieved. Leonardo Moreira made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Axel Tasis sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Eliseo Noboa took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Leonardo Moreira to make any attempt to save it. Capivariano F.C.'s Frédson Galvão quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eliseo Noboa, made in the 70th minute of the game. After 86 played minutes Capivariano F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Galvão. In the 91st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Capivariano F.C. manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Costa Rica to win.
