CA Trapito's Teofilo Faro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 11th minute of play. Diogo Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diogo Pereira hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Teofilo Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 15th minute of the match. Teofilo Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Douglas Koch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nejat Alp Köker who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teofilo Faro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Douglas Koch got free with Dante Lacasa in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teofilo Faro came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. With an all-out effort, CA Trapito's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tristan Sama, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Douglas Koch sent off a good shot on target. Teofilo Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 46th minute of the match. The CA Trapito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.
