Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Tolsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Dag Jonsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Boomerang Bombers's Åke Lundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Venezuela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henry Tolsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 44 minutes, Dag Jonsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boomerang Bombers and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dag Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boomerang Bombers's Åke Lundström got a free kick in the 57th minute. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Tolsson in the 70th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boomerang Bombers's goalkeeper Carl Askelöf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jörn Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jörn Hellsing got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Michael Nyberg. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Askelöf having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Åke Lundström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Boomerang Bombers's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
