In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Trapito's goalkeeper Teofilo Faro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teofilo Faro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. In the 43rd minute Tristan Sama shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tristan Sama in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The CA Trapito players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Tristan Sama made the kick off in the second half.
