Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loco Higuita. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Loco Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Sakis Kastanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The crowd rose to their feet as George Vasiloiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Loco Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Babbis Tapinos got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loco Higuita quite easily take care of the ball. Babbis Tapinos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Loco Higuita came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Higuita having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Loco Higuita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 37th match minute, KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Vasiloiu to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Higuita having to interfere. Julio Vera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Panaitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sakis Kastanos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sakis Kastanos in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that 沈德挺's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Babbis Tapinos took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Loco Higuita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Sakis Kastanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goalkeeper Loco Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Loco Higuita quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Akis Papagiannopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Akis Papagiannopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loco Higuita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Babbis Tapinos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
