Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lázaro Bortzaioriz made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Froila. After 5 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. After having played for 6 minutes, Lázaro Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S E Palmeiras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lázaro Bortzaioriz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Astor Aragones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Lázaro Bortzaioriz was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Bortzaioriz came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Astor Aragones stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Camilo Gaos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the S E Palmeiras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Lázaro Bortzaioriz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teodoro Prado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Aldo Casos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kléberson Cerezo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Aldo Casos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 56th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The supporters of Venezuela booed when S E Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. 袁霖骏 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Illescas, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 64th minute Lázaro Bortzaioriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Aragones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Astor Aragones successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 76th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. S E Palmeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Tomas Illescas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Astor Aragones quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by S E Palmeiras's Lázaro Bortzaioriz. But to his dismay, Lázaro Bortzaioriz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Astor Aragones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Berdaitz Puebla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd minute, 袁霖骏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Astor Aragones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. S E Palmeiras's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
