Kukava Raas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. Pedro Luís Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match, Danilo Pinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 27 minutes into the game, Elano Silveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fast layne Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick.
