Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dário Prada got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Dário Prada lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin Gayoso. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Prada in the 19th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Hornos's Dário Prada. But to his dismay, Dário Prada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Los Hornos made a substitution. Lucas Staff replaced Gene Simmons. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Dário Prada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Dário Prada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dário Prada might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Prada ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

53 minutes into the match, Dário Prada notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 65th minute of play. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Prada in the 66th minute of play. Dário Prada might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dário Prada ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Dário Prada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Prada in the 82nd minute of play. After 93 minutes, Jaime Veronica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Hornos and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uruguay made a substitution. Lucho Andrade replaced Arturo Carvallo. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Los Hornos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Veronica didn't get a good kick on the ball.
