Camilo Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charles De Meur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Björkdahl came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s zone, Maximiliano Escribano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles De Meur came out of the goal and Maximiliano Escribano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Charles De Meur in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Björkdahl's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. György Márton's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. György Márton helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes Berkshire Harthaway FC. got a freekick which was hit by György Márton. Many of Uruguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Uruguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Berkshire Harthaway FC. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
